The very first thing that people often turn to when frustrated by their weight is to cut down on calories. In my opinion this is wrong way of dieting. You must be thinking why? This is because first of all you are starving your body. Depending upon your weight, your body requires that much of calories to function properly. Moreover if you cut too many calories, you slow down your metabolism. Slowing down of metabolism will lead your body to hang onto calories that you consume. When your metabolism is working properly, your body burns calories rather than storing them. Dieting this way will for sure make you see results but many people do not understand that their body is actually breaking down muscles for nourishment. Hence dieting this way can lead to many health risks like hypothermia etc.
